Any work deemed as custom will be billed at $125 per hour, per man from the time we arrive at your home of business.
Any work performed in the store prior to delivery will be billable at
$65 per hour. Complex installations work requiring personnel other than
your service representative will be billed at $95 per hour.
Travel Charges:
Travel charges are based on round trip travel times. Prices vary
depending on your location. When a service call is out of our normal
service area, travel charges are based on $65 per hour from the time we
leave Living Sea Aquarium to the time we arrive back to Living Sea
Aquarium.
New Installations:
BASIC INSTALLATION
WITH PURCHASE OF AQUARIUM, CABINET AND EQUIPMENT. THE EQUIPMENT IS TO BE
INSTALLED IN THE AQUARIUM CABINET. THE INSTALLATION TO TAKE PLACE AT
LIVING SEA AQUARIUM, INC., WITH ONLY FINAL CONNECTIONS TO BE MADE AT THE
TIME OF DELIVERY AT THE CUSTOMERS LOCATION. THE BASIC DELIVERY AND SET
UP INCLUDES THE AQUARIUM, CABINET, CANOPY AND ONE FILTER COMPONENT (IE.
MAGNUM CANISTER OR A WET-DRY FILTER & SUBMERSIBLE PUMP) DELIVERED
AND INSTALLED TO THE FIRST FLOOR OF A HOME OR OFFICE WITH EASY IN AND
OUT ACCESS.

New aquarium installation labor rates are based on $125 per hour.
Installation charges will vary due to differences in the complexity of
the job. In additional or special equipment is used, such as trucks or
forklifts, additional charges will be applied.
Emergency Visits:
This rate is for any visit not scheduled at least 24 hours in advance.
It is available only during normal Living Sea Aquarium business hours.
The current emergency visit charge is $130 per man, per hour and is only
billed in whole hour increments.
What If Two Technicians Are Needed?
Some aquariums may require two service technicians due to location,
inhabitants or the size of the aquaruium. We may also schedule two
technicians if the job can be done more efficiently.
No Show Fees:
A 24 hour notice is required for all service cancellations. If our
technician drives to your home or business and we are unable to service
the aquarium you will be charged for the first hour of service and
travel time. Should this happen, you will have to call the to reschedule
your appointment.
Parking:
With all the equipment we bring, it is important that we park as close
as possible to the service area. If we have to pay for parking, you will
be billed the exact amount we were charged. If parking is free or
validated parking is available we will gladly use it.
Deliveries:
Yes, we will gladly deliver livestock, food or any other supplies you
need. Please call at least 24 hours in advance of your next service
appointment and we will bring them along at no additional charge.
Paperwork:
Upon the completion of our service visit you will be given a detailed
Invoice/Maintenance Sheet. On this sheet you will find a weaht of useful
information; such as, water test results, review of services performed,
recommended service on our next visit as well as the date of our next
service visit. After each service you or an authorized representative
will need to sign the Invoice/Maintenance Sheet as approval of job
completion to satisfaction. A copy of these forms will be given to you
for your records and one comes back here for our records of your
account.a
